Working Student Software Development / AI Engineering (m/f/d)

We are looking for technical support for the development and further development of our AI systems, internal tools and client solutions. You work on real projects around generative AI, automation, APIs, AI agents and web-based applications, and from the start you are part of the team that builds these solutions for our clients.

Trickhouse is a generative AI agency in Düsseldorf. We produce content with digital twins and synthetic AI models, develop AI workflows and AI agents, and integrate both into our clients' systems. As a working student you work directly on this technology, with your own tasks and real responsibility.

Your tasks

• Developing and further developing internal tools and client applications
• Developing automations and AI agents for concrete business processes
• Integrating APIs, webhooks and external systems
• Contributing to backend and frontend applications
• Reviewing, debugging and improving existing codebases
• Supporting deployment and technical infrastructure
• Developing solutions around generative AI
• Technical quality assurance and code reviews
• Supporting enterprise integrations

What you bring

You do not have to be a senior. We are looking for a technically strong working student who brings solid fundamentals in software development, learns quickly and wants to take responsibility for their own tasks. Important or desirable are:

• Python
• TypeScript and JavaScript
• Next.js and React
• REST APIs and webhooks
• PostgreSQL, Supabase or comparable databases
• Git and GitHub
• Docker
• Basic understanding of Linux, servers and deployment
• LLM APIs and agent systems
• Clean debugging, testing and code reviews
• Security fundamentals for client data and enterprise systems

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI for image, video or text
• PyTorch
• Node-based AI workflows
• GPU infrastructure
• AI agent frameworks

• Working student position with a flexible number of hours, coordinated with your studies
• Location Düsseldorf, hybrid or remote by arrangement
